Berlin's entrepreneurial community is built on diverse perspectives, ambitious ideas, and people willing to share their experiences. At Avomind, we believe that creating opportunities for these conversations helps strengthen the relationships and networks that support business growth.

On March 26, 2026, Founders & Friends Berlin Meetup returned for a special edition dedicated to International Women's Day, bringing together founders, entrepreneurs, business leaders, and professionals to explore leadership, empowerment, and the experiences of women building their own businesses.

Workshop

Organized by Avomind and Your Growth Solutions, the event continued our mission of creating an inclusive space where people from different industries and backgrounds can connect, exchange knowledge, and discover new opportunities for collaboration.

With inspiring founder stories, company pitches, interactive discussions, and networking, the March edition highlighted the importance of community in supporting entrepreneurial journeys.

Celebrating Women in Entrepreneurship and Leadership

International Women's Day provides an opportunity to recognize the achievements of women across industries while encouraging conversations about leadership, professional development, and entrepreneurship.

For our March meetup, we wanted to bring these discussions into a setting where participants could learn directly from women with different professional backgrounds and entrepreneurial experiences.

The event welcomed attendees of all genders, reflecting our belief that building more inclusive entrepreneurial communities requires collaboration and participation from everyone.

Throughout the evening, conversations explored the experiences of women navigating professional transitions, developing businesses, building networks, and pursuing leadership opportunities.

By bringing together founders and professionals at different stages of their careers, the meetup created opportunities to exchange practical insights and discover perspectives that might otherwise remain outside their immediate professional circles.

Learning From Different Entrepreneurial Journeys

One of the central elements of Founders & Friends Berlin is the opportunity to hear directly from people who are building businesses, leading organizations, and pursuing new ideas.

Our March edition featured women whose experiences demonstrated the diversity of paths into entrepreneurship and leadership.

Among the featured speakers was Kazuna, whose professional journey spans international business, the automotive industry, artificial intelligence, and initiatives supporting women's empowerment.

Her experience connecting Latin America, Europe, and Japan reflects the importance of cross-cultural collaboration in an increasingly international business environment. Alongside her work in technology and mobility, she has contributed to initiatives addressing gender-based violence and women's representation in leadership.

We also welcomed Corina, Founder of Giftmetime, whose entrepreneurial journey followed a career in the corporate sector.

Giftmetime focuses on encouraging individuals to invest in themselves through experiences and personal development. Corina's transition into entrepreneurship highlighted the opportunities that can emerge when professional experience, personal motivation, and a new business idea come together.

These perspectives contributed to the broader theme of the evening: recognizing that entrepreneurship takes many forms and that leadership experiences can provide valuable lessons across industries.

Giving Founders a Platform to Share Their Ideas

Alongside our speaker discussions, the March meetup continued one of the core traditions of Founders & Friends Berlin: providing entrepreneurs with an opportunity to introduce their businesses to the community.

Our company pitch format encourages founders to communicate their ideas clearly, explain the problems they are addressing, and share what support they are looking for.

During the evening, attendees had the opportunity to discover emerging businesses, including Velout, presented by Theodora, and Volto AI, presented by Julia.

Velout focuses on connecting solo travelers and creating opportunities for shared experiences, addressing the challenges of meeting people and building connections while traveling independently.

The pitches offered participants an opportunity to discover new entrepreneurial concepts and engage directly with the people behind them.

For early-stage founders, visibility and access to professional networks can play an important role in business development. Introducing a company to a room of entrepreneurs and industry professionals can open the door to feedback, introductions, partnerships, and new perspectives.

Through these opportunities, Founders & Friends aims to encourage active participation and create meaningful connections between emerging businesses and the wider startup community.

Creating Meaningful Connections Beyond the Stage

While our March edition focused on International Women's Day, the conversations and connections extended well beyond the event's central theme.

The evening brought together people with different experiences in entrepreneurship, business development, technology, leadership, and professional services.

Participants had opportunities to exchange ideas during the event program and continue their conversations through informal networking.

This combination of structured content and personal interaction is central to the Founders & Friends experience.

For entrepreneurs, meeting people outside their immediate industry can provide valuable perspectives on challenges such as developing a business model, expanding into new markets, building teams, and establishing a professional network.

For professionals exploring entrepreneurship, these events offer opportunities to learn from people who have already taken the step of building their own businesses.

By encouraging these exchanges, we aim to create a community where relationships develop naturally and conversations can continue beyond a single event.

Why Community Matters to Avomind

Avomind's Office in Berlin

At Avomind, our work as an international recruitment partner gives us insight into the challenges businesses face as they grow, expand into new markets, and develop their teams.

We regularly collaborate with founders, executives, and business leaders who are navigating important decisions about talent acquisition, organizational development, and international expansion.

These experiences have reinforced our belief that strong professional relationships and access to diverse perspectives are essential to sustainable business growth.

Through Founders & Friends Berlin, we contribute to the local entrepreneurial ecosystem by connecting people who share an interest in building businesses, developing new ideas, and learning from one another.

Our International Women's Day edition also reflected the importance of creating spaces where women's professional experiences, leadership perspectives, and entrepreneurial achievements receive visibility.

By supporting these conversations, we hope to encourage greater collaboration and provide opportunities for individuals to connect with others who can contribute to their professional and entrepreneurial journeys.

Continuing the Founders & Friends Berlin Journey

The March meetup was another important moment in our 2026 Founders & Friends calendar.

Following our February kickoff dedicated to Inspiring Founder Stories, the International Women's Day edition introduced new perspectives on entrepreneurship, leadership, and empowerment.

Throughout the year, our monthly meetup series continues to explore topics relevant to founders and growing businesses, including artificial intelligence, international market expansion, sales and marketing, organizational development, and technology and innovation.

Each edition is designed to combine informative discussions with opportunities for attendees to meet, share experiences, and discover new ideas.

Our goal remains consistent: to build a welcoming and engaged community that supports meaningful relationships across Berlin's entrepreneurial ecosystem.
