Founders & Friends Berlin: Bringing the Startup Community Together for Our 2026 Kickoff
Berlin's startup ecosystem thrives on collaboration, shared experiences, and the connections that bring ambitious ideas to life. At Avomind, we believe that creating opportunities for founders, entrepreneurs, and business professionals to exchange perspectives is an important part of supporting this ecosystem.

On February 25, 2026, we kicked off another year of Founders & Friends Berlin Meetup, our community-driven event series organized by Avomind and Your Growth Solutions.
Under the theme "Inspiring Founder Stories," the evening brought together members of Berlin's entrepreneurial community for an engaging mix of founder experiences, company pitches, interactive activities, and networking.
The event also marked the beginning of a new chapter for Founders & Friends, with an expanded program designed to encourage meaningful conversations, introduce new perspectives, and strengthen relationships within Berlin's business community.
Creating a Space for Founders to Connect and Learn
Building a company involves constant learning, decision-making, and adaptation. Founders regularly encounter challenges related to growth, leadership, financing, market positioning, and building the right teams. Having access to a community of people who understand these experiences can make a meaningful difference.
Founders & Friends Berlin was created to bring these conversations into a welcoming, collaborative environment.
Our February kickoff reflected this approach by combining structured discussions with informal opportunities for attendees to meet, exchange ideas, and discover potential collaborations.
The evening began with food, drinks, and networking, giving participants time to connect before the main program. As the event progressed, attendees had the opportunity to hear from entrepreneurs, discover emerging businesses, and participate in activities designed to encourage interaction.
By bringing together people from different professional backgrounds and stages of their entrepreneurial journeys, the meetup created space for conversations extending beyond individual industries and business models.
Inspiring Founder Stories: Learning From Entrepreneurial Experiences
The central theme of our February edition was Inspiring Founder Stories, highlighting the experiences and perspectives of people who have taken the step of building their own businesses.

The program featured founders from different sectors, offering attendees exposure to a variety of entrepreneurial journeys, business models, and approaches to company development.
These conversations provided an opportunity to explore the realities of entrepreneurship, including the decisions, challenges, and opportunities that arise when turning an idea into a functioning business.
For aspiring entrepreneurs, hearing directly from founders can provide valuable context about the early stages of building a company. For more experienced business leaders, these discussions offer fresh perspectives and opportunities to reflect on their own strategies.
At Avomind, we see particular value in bringing together individuals whose experiences span different industries and business stages. Such exchanges encourage broader thinking and help strengthen the relationships that support a healthy entrepreneurial ecosystem.
Giving Emerging Businesses a Platform Through Founder Pitches
Another important element of the February meetup was the opportunity for entrepreneurs to introduce their companies through short pitches.
Our founder pitch format gives selected participants five minutes and three slides to communicate three essential elements of their business:
Who they are
What their company does
What they currently need
This format encourages founders to communicate their ideas clearly while giving the audience an opportunity to discover new products, services, and business concepts.
The pitches also create opportunities for practical connections. An attendee might recognize a potential partnership, identify a relevant introduction, or offer expertise that could help a founder address a particular challenge.
By including company pitches in our monthly program, Founders & Friends aims to provide visibility to emerging businesses while encouraging active participation from the wider community.
Beyond Traditional Networking: Creating a More Interactive Experience
Our February kickoff also introduced activities that brought an additional creative and interactive dimension to the evening.
Alongside founder stories and company pitches, the program included a workshop led by Ryan, a stand-up performance by Aylah, and an ecstatic dance session with DJ Lux Arkana.
These elements reflected our intention to create a meetup experience that balances professional development with opportunities for people to connect in a more relaxed and personal way.
Traditional networking events can sometimes make it difficult for participants to move beyond introductory conversations. By incorporating workshops, creative performances, and shared activities, we aim to create more natural opportunities for interaction.
The evening also featured drinks from Just Matcha, contributing to the welcoming atmosphere of the kickoff celebration.
Together, these experiences helped establish the tone for the year ahead: a community where business conversations, creativity, and personal connections can coexist.
Building Stronger Connections Across Berlin's Startup Ecosystem
For Avomind, organizing Founders & Friends is closely connected to our broader commitment to supporting businesses throughout their growth journeys.
As an international recruitment partner, we regularly work with founders, leadership teams, and growing organizations navigating important decisions about talent, organizational development, and market expansion.
These conversations have reinforced the importance of strong professional networks and access to perspectives beyond a company's immediate team.
Through Founders & Friends, we contribute to the Berlin startup ecosystem by creating a space where entrepreneurs can meet potential collaborators, exchange experiences, and learn from one another.
The meetup also provides opportunities for established professionals, emerging founders, investors, and individuals interested in entrepreneurship to participate in conversations about the challenges and opportunities shaping businesses today.
Our goal is to build a community that supports meaningful relationships over time, with each monthly edition introducing new topics, experiences, and opportunities for collaboration.

Looking Ahead: A Year of Conversations That Matter
The February kickoff marked the beginning of our 2026 Founders & Friends program, with each monthly edition dedicated to a topic relevant to entrepreneurs and business leaders.
Throughout the year, our community will explore themes including international market expansion, artificial intelligence, sales and marketing, financial planning, organizational growth, and technology and innovation.
Each meetup will continue to combine practical discussions with founder pitches, interactive experiences, and curated networking opportunities.
By exploring these topics from different perspectives, we aim to help participants better understand the opportunities and challenges facing growing companies while strengthening connections across Berlin's entrepreneurial community.
Our February kickoff demonstrated the value of bringing together ambitious, curious, and collaborative people in one room.
We would like to thank everyone who contributed to the evening, including our speakers, founders, performers, volunteers, partners, and attendees.
As we continue developing the meetup series throughout 2026, we look forward to welcoming familiar faces and introducing new members to the community.
